Demolition and Removal * Shut off the water and gas supply to the existing water heater. * Drain and disconnect the existing tank water heater located inside the backyard shed. * Remove and haul away the existing water heater, vent piping, and shed. * Cap the existing water lines at the water heater location. * Cap the existing gas line at the 1-inch tee in front of the home that supplies the stove. * Discontinue use of the gas line running toward the backyard and properly cap the line. Tankless Water Heater Installation * Furnish and install one new 199,000 BTU outdoor RUDD tankless water heater. * Mount the new tankless unit on the left side of the home, near the existing gas meter. * Install up to 20 feet of galvanized piping to supply the new tankless water heater location. * Run up to 40 total feet of water piping
