Lakefront Airport McDermott Hangar Flat Roof Replacement: Includes the furnishings of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for the demolition and removal of the existing roofing system and installation of a new multi-ply SBS-modified bitumen membrane torch down roofing system over new deck cover board, tapered rigid insulation and decking. Work also includes the removal of the five existing HVAC units, existing curbs, and existing skylight and replacement of damaged existing wood soffit decking. Two new 10-ton HVAC units and new curbs will be installed on the new roofing system. New gutters and downspouts will be installed on the sloped roof above to control rainwater flow to the existing subsurface drainage system that discharges directly into Lake Pontchartrain.
